Today, we'd like to applaud our very own Doug Markham, CFO on his recent recognition as the Birmingham Business Journal's 2020 Veteran of Influence.

Doug retired as a Captain (0-6) from the Navy Reserves in 2015, after a 25-year career. He was deployed twice, during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, and served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Doug has added a special dimension to our executive team and our culture. He has an incredible background in the retail world, and combined with his Navy supply chain career, adds vision, depth, and decades of experience to the financial side of our business. Doug’s leadership skills seamlessly align with our Lift Up culture, so much so, that we implemented a recognition program that Doug brought us from his time in the Navy.
