Gary Osborn Joins SPOC as Permian Basin Business Development Manager

We’re Thrilled to Announce that Gary Osborn Has Joined SPOC as Our New Permian Basin Business Development Manager.

“You just can’t find another company that has what SPOC has,” says Gary Osborn. “Their combination of product, price, and service is just unbeatable.” That combination was the reason why, in his previous position, he used—and was a huge fan of—SPOC’s products.

More recently, it was a major influence in Gary accepting a job with SPOC. “I used to buy the product and I liked it so much I decided to sell it. I can stand behind SPOC products 100 percent and I’m thrilled to be part of this company.”

Gary is now SPOC’s Permian Basin Business Development Manager. Based out of his home in Greenwood, Texas, near Midland, Gary will oversee the selling of SPOC’s product line throughout the Permian Basin and New Mexico. Having previously worked in sales and marketing positions, as well as in the field, including drilling and production, Gary brings a wide range of experience in helping his customers succeed.

He knows he can do that with SPOC products, as well as the company’s service. “That’s what really sets SPOC apart—their service,” he says. “When there is a problem, SPOC addresses it quickly to get the customer back up and running.”

Having spent the better part of his near 30-year career in West Texas, Gary knows the Permian Basin extremely well, as well as the challenges and opportunities producers experience there. “I've been in the industry here since the early nineties. I’ve worked elsewhere--Dubai, Indonesia, and Australia … but I’ve come back here. This is home and I want to continue to work here to help my customers achieve their goals. To keep pumping and hiring. Times have been tight lately, but we’re turning things around.”

“We’re extremely fortunate to have Gary on our team,” says Ted Wilke, SPOC’s vice president. “He brings with him a wealth of contacts, but more than that, he has a solid reputation for how well he knows the industry, as well as how he applies that in helping his customers. His customers’ challenges are his challenges, and he goes the extra mile to find solutions.”

Gary is a graduate of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, who says he and his wife, Katie, are blessed with “four outstanding children.” When he’s not working or repairing fences on his land, where he raises cattle, Gary loves to do pretty much everything outdoors, including hunting and fishing.

“Family is just about everything,” says Gary. “And that’s what SPOC is. It’s like a giant family. They take care of their employees, as well as their customers. That means a lot, especially today.”
